The workshop focuses on the still current topic of creating and improving the rhythmic skills of children in school music education. Examples of activities that seek to link the mental and physical preconditions and skills of children and develop the desired coordination of the idea of movement and its own implementation will be presented.
The applied activities are based on the method of Émile Jaques-Dalcroze and motivate for the active thoughtful integration of elementary music and movement activities into music lessons.
