The author deals with the topic of Children Left Behind. This term refers to children whose father, mother or both parents migrate abroad for work.
The absence of a parent is so long-term. The children stay in their home country and are cared for by only one parent.
In the case of both parents' migration, they are often cared for by their grandparents, other relatives, guardians or, in some cases, by a wider community of neighbors or acquaintances. This fact also increases the number of children who grow up without one or both parents due to migration.
The aim of the presented text is to answer the question in the empirical part: How does the migration of their parents affect the children who remain in the home country.
