The Prostějov Basin, with its fertile Haná soils, represents a unique part of Moravia suitable for the study of prehistory, as is the case with the Early Iron Age - Hallstatt Period (800-450 BC). Numerous monuments of this era point to the fact that it was an exceptional region that benefited from its position on long-distance roads - the Amber and the Pannonian-Elbe Roads.
Archaeologists have found evidence of the existence of structures for more than a century, that profited from trade and developed a distinctive culture of the first Iron Age in our territory. The book is a supplementary text to the exhibition of the same name realized in 2022 in the Museum and galery in Prostějov.
