Abstract

This article presents the theoretical articulations of the Person-Centered Approach (PCA) and Play therapy as expressive therapeutic approaches that enable creative processes, aiming to justify the psychological impacts of creativity on the full functioning of the person. A dialogue is established between the theory and the case study, which was grounded on the use of expressive/creative resources, suggesting that such resources have a significant importance in the construction of the person.
