Abstract
The author tries to define the so-called film announcements and find their place in the system of Czech phraseology and idiomatics. He is convinced that film announcements (movie quotes) are part of Czech paremiology and that they are closest to the so-called winged words.
Unlike them, however, the film announcements are specific to the widest audience of Czech language speakers. The article was created on the occasion of the life anniversary of prof.
