Abstract
The article focuses on the theme of Ragnarök or the Twilight of the Gods and presents it in the spectrum of classical scholarly interpretations. The multiplicity of interpretations serves as a treasure trove for the author's thesis that myth functions as a mirror reflecting what the interpreter brings with him.
