This paper analyses the relations between subjects and their suzerain represented by governor Sebastian Ignatius de Bois in 1670 s and 1680 s on Zbiroh dominion. It covers two main topics: keeping records on individual subjects and their desertion out of dominion, and the process of forced settlement of empty farms.
On the basis of the analyses, I argue that despite the strong will to determine the behaviour of the subjects, the governor was under the same amount of pressure from their part.
