Abstract
Outcome V4 of the project TAČR - Drought Stories, TL02000048 - Workshop for experts: science communication. The workshop "Climate Change Stories: communicating science research to the wider public" took place on 21. 1. 2021, Scout Institute, Old Town Square, Prague.
The workshop introduced the participants to how the Czech media report on climate change; how to communicate well with policy makers and the media; how to create media-interesting news from the outputs of scientific studies; how to communicate via the internet; and the specifics of social media. The workshop was attended by 16 participants (scientists from Czech scientific institutions; experts on water management; government employees - e.g.
SPÚ staff etc.; representatives of non-profit organisations; media representatives).
