Psychological analysis of the degree of influence of research findings on specific policy decisions presented at the international conference Gouvernance des politiques éducatives in Paris. The lecture demonstrated the necessity of connecting the cognitive core (e.g. cognitive modifiability in the case presented) of any change and shared social values (cohesion, solidarity) using a concrete example of legislative regulation of common (inclusive) education in the Czech Republic.

Every research finding, thanks to the mediation of experts, has yet to become an argument for a political decision. Pro-inclusive reform was perceived from the very beginning as a "foreign" idea, in the next phase it was mediated by experts, not researchers, and eventually became the subject of defensive advocacy for politicians.
