Reflections on agency employment of foreigners from third countries - challenges of the current and (post)covid era

Abstract
The paper aims to highlight the problematic aspects of employment mediation for foreigners from third countries in the form of agency employment. It focuses on the definition of the given issue both in the regulations governing employment and the regulations dealing with the residence of foreigners on the territory of the Czech Republic and asks whether the current legislation seems to be appropriate for the time of high demand for labour, which was not alleviated even by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic with a minor fluctuation in 2020.
Attention is also paid to the extraordinary measures taken by the Ministry of Health, which have largely affected the effectiveness of the employment of foreigners from third countries.
