Abstract
What would it mean for humanity to extract the resources of a globally unique area, and the disappearance of the cultures and stories that are associated with them? And how is this theme reflected in art projects? The publication Stolen Rain and Other Stories from the Amazon presents narratives about the origins of the world, the intermingling of cultures and the wanton plundering of the rainforest. In the ArtCafé programme on Czech Radio, it is presented by Šárka Grauová, Petra Šantorová and Alena Růžičková.
