Evžen Neustupný (October 31, 1933 in Prague - + January 14, 2021) fulfilled the adjective of his surname (Neustupný = stubborn) throughout his life. Indeed, he conducted his entire professional life with incredible determination, tenacity and admirable systematic thinking.
Perhaps that is why he influenced the development of world archeology in such an extraordinary way. His scientific contribution lies not only in his deep insight and consistent way of working, but above all in his intuition in recognizing and treating key topics in archaeological research.
