In an effort to protect the most at risk, there has been an unprecedented isolation of all seniors. However, this isolation most affected the seniors, who were clients of residential social services facilities.
These facilities, as well as the hospitals, were completely closed and residents were forbidden to leave them as well as receive visitors for a very long time.
