Josef Träger (1904-1971) was one of the most influential figures in theater criticism of the 20th century in the Czech media, he was the co-creator of the interwar avant-garde stage, as well also a promoter of the lyric stage's stylish. Connoisseur of several generations of Czech theater artists worked for fifty years as a theater critic.The twenty eight pieces collected here represent the final testimonies prepared by Josef Träger for publication, but never published.
