Kindergarten reading corner with a recommendation for quality titles published after 1989

Abstract

The publication acquaints readers with the characteristics of the reading corner in kindergarten and its equipment, typology of books and preferred genres of preschool children. With an emphasis on quality literature for children, current quality publishers, book awards, children's magazines and inspiring links to professional reviews have been presented.

The publication also includes tips on quality titles for preschool children with regard to the course of the school year. In line with the goal of developing reading literacy in preschool children, the opportunity to enrich them with the power of shared experience, shared sharing and discussions lead to a new, deeper meaning are complemented by ideas for activities that can take place in the reading corner and support children's reading as a lifelong attitude individuals.
