Abstract
Article explores the 1989 Central European velvet revolutions and the post-communist ethnic conflicts of the 1990s from the point of view of their internal dynamics, self-organization, performance theory and street drama. Special emphasis is placed on the feeling of elienation of the revolutionary subject and the rise of the conspiracy theories.
