"The Work You Are Struggling With Is Clearly Not Coming Along" : The Reflection of Writing in Karel Milota's Short Stories

Abstract

The article is an interpretation of the motif of writing in Karel Milota's three short stories from the collection The Night of Mirrors: The Night of Mirrors, Carol, and Pastoral, using the concepts of the unnatural narratology (mise en abyme, metalepsis), the theory of literary atmospheres, and the theory of authorial self-presentation.
