What is a phenomenon? : a fourfold approach to Richirian phenomenology

Abstract

This article proposes to clarify the conception of the phenomenon and of phenomenology in the whole of Marc Richir's thought. Four transversal interpretations of the notion of phenomenon are successively studied: the phenomenon as appearance, the phenomenon as world phenomenon, the phenomenon as language and the phenomenon as imagination (phantasia).
