Abstract
The paper deals with the nature of crisis measures issued by state executive bodies and/or bodies of territorial self-governing units, their system in the Czech legal order, preconditions, requisites, properties and possible defects. It pays attention to checks on their legality in the Czech Republic, including (and in particular) the protection provided by the administrative justice.
