This book deals with the attempt made by Edmund Husserl in his Prolegomena to pure logic to describe and establish pure logic and its compatibility with the concept of categorical intuition discussed in VI. Logical investigation.
In particular, the question is whether the categorical intuition can be subsumed under the definition of specific relativism presented in the Prolegomena. The relevance of the question is that if it could be answered affirmatively, there would be a departure from the antipsychologism of the Prolegomena.
The author argues in favour of the compatibility of the mentioned theoretical concept with the content of the Prolegomena.
