Audio-visual-text file "Music" (23 thematic and biographical entries supplemented by photographs and audio samples) in the permanent exhibition Jews in the Bohemian Lands 19th-20th Century in the Spanish Synagogue. Jewish Museum in Prague. (Open December 16, 2020) The exhibition traces the fate of Jews in the Czech lands from the Josephine reforms in the 1980s to the post-war period.

It introduces the gradual equality and emancipation of Jews in Austria-Hungary, the emergence of the Czech-Jewish and Zionist movement, the most important entrepreneurs, scientists, writers, musicians and artists (including Franz Kafka, Sigmund Freud, Gustav Mahler). It also describes the reconstruction of the Prague Jewish City, the Jewish monuments of Bohemia and Moravia and the history of the Jewish Museum in Prague.

Special attention is paid to the Holocaust of Czech and Moravian Jews in 1939-1945 and the Terezín ghetto.
