The collection of maps for model localities in Kyjov and Břeclav regions shows, on the example of two types of scenarios, the potential development of the landscape in 2050, in response to climate change and expected plans for human activities. The optimistic scenario is developed for all localities and shows a landscape in which various adaptation measures have been introduced to improve the functioning of the landscape, and reflects the willingness and readiness of society to implement these measures.
The pessimistic scenario was prepared for four localities and shows the landscape without implemented measures, resulting from the reluctance of landscape managers and users, resp. from lack of social and financial support. The maps are supplemented by graphs showing changes in the area of landscape elements between the present and the year 2050 and accompanying texts.
