Abstract
The paper presents the thesis of the prepared PhD dissertation on the topic of translations of Czech literature into Spanish and the current research results concerning mainly Mexico. The author introduced the basics of selected historiographical research theories methods within Translation Studies and thematic focus of research, including preliminary results and results obtained in the Mexican region.
