Abstract
The paper presents the results of a research project focused on the valuation of trees growing outside forests, which led to a comprehensive revision of the NCA CR methodology. The main innovations in the valuation procedure include a new categorization of solitary trees, explicit consideration of invasiveness in the valuation of solitary trees and stands of trees, and more precise differentiation of values of dry and decaying trees with respect to their biological potential.
Furthermore, the article aims at the implementation and promotion of the other outputs of the project: methodology, software, specialized maps, technical reports as well as other technical papers and other supporting materials produced within the project to their target users and other professional public.
