The publication includes a set of real case reports from three areas of emergencies arising outside the hospital - acute illness, injuries and external influences. An interesting enrichment is the case reports from the medical operating center of the medical rescue service, which show the difference in work in the control room, and from situations with mass disabilities.
The authors of the case reports work in primary care throughout the Czech Republic, therefore the presented cases are not only a cross-section of rare cases that can be encountered in pre-hospital care, but also routine interventions. Each case study is accompanied by a commentary that links the content of the case study to best practices, both national and international.
