The Cinderella Treatment of Foreign Arbitral Awards in the Czech Enforcement Procedure

Abstract

Foreign arbitral awards are defined by the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic as arbitral awards that were issued outside of the territory of the Czech Republic.2 Depending on the country of their issuance different rules of private international law apply when their recognition or enforcement is sought in the Czech Republic.
