Abstract
The paper analyzes the hymnographic work of Luke of Prague (d. 1528) and his contemporaries. Based on previous research, the author reconstructs the content of the lost hymnbooks of the Unity of the Brethren from 1505 and 1519.
Luke's hymnographic work is characterized as a strongly confessional project, based primarily on new translation of choral liturgical texts.
