Abstract
It is not widely known that Chinese Whispers can bu turned into a very motivating communication activity. By its alteration a comparative view and discussion is introduced in this activity if used for teaching Czech not only as the second language: a translation of short Czech text into the second language and vice versa is being whispered.
Other possibilities of using translation for communication-oriented teaching are also presented.
