Abstract
At present, the Czech Republic belongs among countries with highest incidence of most gynecological cancers in the EU. Comparison of the incidence and mortality in most of these tumors is unfortunately not favorable for us either.
We summarize new knowledge in the field of pathogenesis and diagnostics. We analyze how the trend of incidence and mortality looks like today and what are the trends in diagnosis and treatment of most common malignant tumors of female reproductive organs in 2009 and discuss the prospects for next 10 years.
