Abstract

The overarching aim of this study is to develop our understanding of how educational and social care systems can support young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to transition successfully from school or other forms of education to adult life in CzechRepublic and in Minnesota, the U.S. The aim is to produce new knowledge enabling young people in the Czech Republic and in Minnesota the U.S. to achieve their full and effective participation in society as active citizens.
