The paper deals with the work of a teacher and his change in thinking about his teaching during distance learning. In the article, the author describes her experience with teaching combined study students in the field of Primary School Teacher Training, who developed their own action research within the subject Action Research for Teachers.
The resulting student reports show how distance learning led them to create research in their classroom to streamline and improve their teaching. All with the considerable involvement of the students themselves and their families.
Thus, distance learning seems to have forced teachers to create, albeit unknowingly, their own research. And it is action research that is being used in one of the most effective schools in Europe, Finland, and have a significant impact on the quality of teaching and learning.
