Abstract
The paper deals with aspects of the initial dissemination of Orff Schulwek's ideas in Czechoslovakia. it represents a unique recording of the original performance of Orff Schulwerk to the general public through the program Carl Orff s Schuwerk/ Focus on Music from 1966. The program, which has been hidden in the archives of Czech Television for more than fifty years, captures the basic principles of Orff Schulwerk, Czech Orff Schulwerk and and the spread of Orff 's ideas in the then Czechoslovakia by ilja hurník, Vladimír Poš and Božena Viskupová.
The author briefly presents the digitized recording of the show and emphasizes its importance as a historical source of initial demonstration of completely new music and educational principles, so far completely unique in our country, which subsequently significantly contributed to the promotion of the activity concept of music education
