Reception of antiquity, the phenomena of time and pain – topics of research and presentation of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague jewellery collections

Abstract
The study deals with the topics of permanent displays, publications and lectures by which the author, in the position of a curator, has recently been presenting the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague jewellery collections. Concerning the permanent displays, topics of Light and Corporality are discussed.
In publications and lectures topics the study highlights the projects of antiquity impacts (Glyptic Patterns and Ways of Introducing a Theme) and the projects dealing with the phenomena of time and pain. All the topics mentioned name the interference points of historical and contemporary jewels.
