Abstract
A note to documenting the use of so-called quarry marks for our environment. Presented on the example of the Prague Gate of the Beroun city fortification (c. 1300), where is almost 100% occurrence of the single stone mark.
For the latter, it was documented by the paper that it was created before the final stone dressing of the architectural parts, i.e. it may be a product of one of the processes related to the extraction and distribution of building stone.
