Legal presumption of employment as a step in the right direction?

Abstract

The lecture focused on the proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on improving working conditions in platform work as of 9 December.2021 and specifically on the legal presumption of the employment relationship outlined therein. The benefits and drawbacks of applying such a legal presumption were analysed.

The lecture also focused on the comparison of legal presumptions of employment relationship between selected EU Member States.
