The principle of the model for the optimal use of renewable energy sources in transport and its main outputs
Abstract
For the purpose of calculating renewable energy substitution and GHG emission savings in the transport sector in the Czech Republic, a simple linear calculation model TRANSPLINEX was created in MS Excel in accordance with and respecting legislative, technical and other requirements, which allows summarizing total energy consumption, calculation of total RES substitution, calculation of average GHG emission factor and GHG savings and other parameters for individual years based on input data.
