Abstrakt
Czech historiography recently acquired a variety of publications concentrating on the history of tourism in the former Czechoslovakia. This review covers two of them, which were mainly the work of Czech historian Pavel Mücke: his own monograph Štastnou cestu … ?! Proměny politik cestování a cestovního ruchu v Československu za časů studené války (1945–1989), as well as a collection of studies Turistická odysea.
Krajinou soudobých dějin cestování a cestovního ruchu v Československu v letech 1945 až 1989. Both publications are an outcome of a project funded by the Czech Science Foundation called Small and big history of Czech/Czechoslovak tourism 1945–1989.
