Abstract

The presented project deals with the Occitan Revival cultural movement in the second half of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. It focuses mainly on the transnational and transregional dimension of the movement, i.e., the links to other revival movements in France and other countries.

The project puts particular emphasis on the personality of Bernard Lesfargues (1924-2018), an important representative of the new generation of Occitan regionalists, that was formed during Lesfargues' studies in Paris after World War II.
