In the article, the author outlines some significant general development tendencies in Czech and Slovak law after the World War I, while he continuously illustrates these on the specific development of labour law. The aim of the article is to point out the interrelationship between general legal development and specific, legislative, development within a certain branch of law, in this case labour law.
The focus of the research is the period of existence of the common state of Czechs and Slovaks. The author proceeds chronologically within his analysis, by individual historical periods.
