The aim of this paper is to briefly present the didactic principles of science education, which were compiled by a team of sixteen didacticians from the Czech Republic and Slovakia under the leadership of Kateřina Jančaříková. These are principles that should guide science teachers in their work.
The result of the joint work is a publication [1], which was published this year by the PedF UK publishing house. The publication is intended for teachers of biology/natural history, physics, geography/memory, chemistry, computer science, mathematics and lecturers of environmental education and education for sustainability, teachers of the first grade and, of course, also students (future teachers) of these disciplines, didacticians, and other interested persons.
