The aim of the discussion paper is to analytically reflect on the development and especially the contribution of the Start Together educational programme in the field of innovations in pre-primary and primary education in the Czech Republic. The intention is not only to describe the specific qualitative changes that the programme has brought and is bringing to the everyday pedagogical practice of schools, but also to capture the impact o fthe implementation of the Start Together programme on the wider field of curriculum reform and the quality of the teaching profession.
