Abstract
The map "POPULATION OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC: Totaldependency ratio in the period 1995-2019" represents the result of demographic research and spatial analyzes of statistical data. Areas are created in the map using a unique method, which makes is possible to monitor the development of the Total dependency ratio throughout the monitored period, thus via creating 6,214 newly defined "macro-municipalities".
The map shows the value of the index in the monitored period, the development of the value for municipalities with extended competences for individual years, the development of change and the speed of this change also with details on municipalities with extended competences. Part of the map is typification, which classifies municipalities according to the trend of development of the Total dependency ratio into individual types, within which the municipalities are similar.
