Workshop on the research project Local libraries in the digital era as a tool for the intergration of migrants' childern
Abstract
On November 3, a public workshop was held with the participation of representatives of all the library branches surveyed, the library headquarters, other libraries/branches interested in the topic, non-profit organizations, and academia. The meeting was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University.
It was the final meeting, where preliminary results of the project were presented, especially the findings from the research among pupils of selected Prague primary schools, the architect's suggestions, and the experience of guests from municipal libraries in Czech regions (Třinec and Havířov). Attention was also paid to child refugees from Ukraine, who became the subject of research during the project over the last eight months.
Guests and collaborators from Ukraine and Russia also participated in the workshop.
