In this paper, the author links the 1862 Kanlica Conference with the demographic changes in Northeast Bosnia that occurred during the 1860s. The author claims that there was a direct link betweenthese two, or in other words, that the Kanlica Conference was a major factor that contributed tochanging the demographics - more precisely, switching the majority between the Christians andMuslims in favor of the latter.
It's important to note it here that the Conference itself wasn't the onlyreason for the changes, but the factor which, intentionally or not, caused them
