Abstract
The dissemination of terrorist content online is a very topical issue that has significant negative social consequences. Although the current legislation sanctions offenders of verbal offences related to terrorism by means of criminal law, it does not sufficiently prevent the dissemination of such content on the Internet.
For this reason, legislation has been adopted at EU level to effectively combat the spread of terrorist content online. What rights and obligations does this legislation bring to Member States? What is changing for so-called hosting service providers or internet users? And how is the Czech Republic implementing the new rules?
