Memoirs of Professor JUDr. Jiří Rajmund Tretera describing the author's life and the life of his parents in the last 120 years.
Events are sorted by time. The author vividly describes the youth of his parents and the history of their families, the period of the First Czechoslovak Republic, his childhood during and after the German occupation, growing up under communist terror, the hard years of studying at the law school, the more pleasant time of military service, and then the long, arduous work of a corporate lawyer in the years 1964-1990.
Finally, he describes life in the underground church 1977-1989 and the pros and cons of the newly acquired freedom in the years 1990-2022.
