Reception of Karel Čapek´s Works in Italy in the Period 1918-1939

Abstract

Thanks to the slavist and bohemicist Wolfgango Guisti (1901-1980), Karel Čapek found a way to the Italian reading public. A very successful translation of his tales was made by Paola Ojetti.
