Abstract
The publication Methodology of education in museums and exhibitions focused on puppetry summarizes the educational activities of the Puppet Museum in Pilsen, a branch of the West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen, and in cooperation with the Methodical Center of Museum Pedagogy at the Moravian Regional Museum in Brno places education focused on puppets and puppetry in the general museum pedagogical framework. The publication also includes a brief summary of the history of Czech puppetry, an overview of memory institutions focused on puppetry, and a glossary of terms.
The publication is an output of the Internal grant project of the West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen IGP 2020/02 Methodology of education in museums and exhibitions focused on puppetry.
