Discrimination against churches in the Czech Republic in the area of granting grants for work with children and youth

Abstract

One of the most frequent form of the discrimination against churches is the exclusion of churches, their organizational units, and registered legal entities from the group of eligible applicants in subsidy and grant programs focused on work with children and youth. In this paper, the author presents the current situation of financing work with children and youth in the Czech Republic, assesses specific grant programmes and reflects on the reasons and consequences of this inequality
