Abstract

Protecting the architecture of the 1960s and 1970s, especially brutalist buildings, has become a major problem for Czech heritage conservation. However, the case of poor protection of the building of the General Pension Institute in Prague, 1932-1934, proves that even rare functionalist buildings will not be safe from the pressure of developers.
